How To Lead In A Business Environment

Leadership in business can be a tricky affair. This is because there is a lot to balance out. They include getting results with your employees and remaining in control. Many business leaders fail in very simple aspects of leadership. They end up losing a lot of business potential especially when they are too harsh with employees. It is important to know how to deal with employees to be a friend and at the same time their serious boss. There are a few things that can be done to make business leadership more rewarding.
Be a role model - This is one of the most important. You will earn respect when your employees know that you know your business. When you are knowledgeable, they will also listen to every word you speak to them. You can share and discuss some of your experiences without showing off. This way, employees will understand that you've been through it all in the business and have achieved what you have. Acting professionally is also a plus. You should dress appropriately, be on time for meetings and work and also communicate in a manner that is professional.
Be clear with expectations and rules - Making expectations clear from the start is the way to go with proper leadership. You can put in place a code of conduct for the employees. The same should apply for projects that you are handling. When the goals and the expectations are clear for the employees, they will know how to go about the project and remain motivated while at it. You also want to avoid changing instructions midway into the project. Any adjustments should not change the laid instructions.
Reward hard work and good behavior - the rewards will tell employees that you appreciate every effort they put in their work. They will also know that you are aware of how hard they work. You can celebrate well completed and achieved goals in a team dinner or give individual rewards for achievements. Prizes can be just as good.
Be a happy leader - Besides getting respect from employees, you also want to be liked. You can start by admitting to your mistakes, it makes you look human. Sharing personal stories occasionally such as your background and family will make them open up to you. Consistent interactions can make a huge difference. You do not have to be too social or be friends with your employees; moderation will keep you in control and maintain the respect.
Leadership is tricky, but there are very good leadership books online. The free books offer amazing insight to leaders on how to lead their businesses. They are structured to teach you how to be a good boss, a boss who is respected, liked but in control of the business. You can download books that you find most suitable for your business leadership goals. The leadership tips can be an eye opener for you and they can make a huge difference in your business and work environment.

Home Business Financing

Funding a home-based business can be a difficult endeavor, especially if the owner was previously an employee and is venturing into business for the first time. Banks are often reluctant to lend to solopreneurs or first-time business owners, and prefer to see more than a year of operating income prior to making the decision to lend. Here are some financing options that may be more realistic for new business owners to pursue:
Related Party Loans
Approaching friends or family members with a loan request may be your best option. After all, they know you personally, and are likely to stand behind your idea. Do not assume, however, that these types of agreements should be done on a handshake. You will need to convince your potential investors with a verbal and written plan that includes realistic projections prepared by you and your accountant (preferably a Certified Public Accountant). You will also need a loan agreement that all parties need to sign before any checks are written (preferably prepared by a lawyer).
Peer to Peer Lending for Business
Borrowing from other individuals is made possible through crowdfunding and peer to peer lending networks. Your odds of getting funded through online channels is especially good if you already have a strong and active social network via sites like Twitter or Facebook. Simply make a compelling case and direct your Twitter and Facebook followers to your funding request page. There are many peer-to-peer lending opportunities for business online so be sure to research your options first.
SBA Loans
If you need access to a large loan (more than $50,000, for example), you might want to consider pursuing a SBA loan. Visit sba.gov to learn more about this process and to find a lender near you.
For Online Retailers
If you run an online business, you may want to consider financing your business through Kabbage.com. This is an internet finance company that allows the business owner to apply online, link payment accounts and get a rapid lending decision. If approved, business owners can tap into business lines of credit of up to $50,000 that can be used to fund purchase of inventory or improvements such as changes to web site design.
Whatever method you choose to pursue, be prepared to share your company's financial history, projections and unique brand with the potential lender to have the best chance at getting the funding you need. Also plan on investing at least some of your own money from savings or credit. This shows your co-investors that you have a strong commitment to your business idea, and will also ensure that you pay close attention to the daily financial details of your business. As previously mentioned, it is also a smart move to consult with a CPA and lawyer before committing to any financial agreement.

Make Your Home Business A Real Business

Some people have very strange ideas of what it is like to operate a business from home using the Internet. This is because a lot of people try to sell software and ideas with promises that you need only work one or two hours a day to earn a comfortable living. They will try to sell you a website for $17 by saying that all you have to do is host it on the Internet, and you will earn a passive income for life. You will also see emails offering you the opportunity to earn money doing surveys, but few of these pay anything near the rates that the adverts suggest. Process emails and make a good regular income is another promise that is often seen advertised, but as well as not paying very much, anybody who wants to receive emails from unknown sources, and open them, for a living in these days of malware threats must have great faith in their computer security programs.
The Internet does offer a lot of different ways to make money online, allowing you to work from home at your own pace and with your own schedule, but do not believe it is easy. The principles of making your home business a success are exactly the same as those that you have to apply within a traditional business concern. You need knowledge of the business sector you are working in, self-discipline, determination, and the ability to carry out any actions as they are required.
Knowledge of your business can include many different factors. It does not matter what the product or service is that you are offering, your audience, or customers, are the people who define whether you are going to be successful or not. You have to find out who they are, and what they want, and then find a way of persuading them to come to your website and purchase what you have to sell. This will all take hours of careful research.
Once you have finished all your research, it is time to take action. The actions you take will be determined by the business venture you have decided to start, but generally they will include implementing sales and marketing strategies. If your potential customers do not know you exist, you are not going to make many sales. Sales and marketing are actions that will have to be constantly worked upon to make sure that your business keeps attracting new clients.
Self-discipline is one of the most important factors when it comes to operating your own home business. It is so easy to decide to give yourself a day off work, but you have to remember that the only income you will be getting is coming from your business, so there should be no days off until the income starts rolling in, and you can afford some down time. This is also linked to the determination that you have to have to succeed, because without that determination, you might as well go to the local employment office and start looking for a regular job.
It is also important that you keep working on all the factors listed above. As you do you will find certain aspects are successful and others fail, it is a continual learning experience that you must build on. This is where persistence breeds success, and with success you can start to enjoy the benefits of being a home business owner. This will not happen overnight, but when it does happen you will know that you have deserved it, so forget about all those promises of instant wealth, and enjoy the ride of running your own home business.
Starting your own Home Based Business can be exciting, but it can also be daunting. Suggestions on the ways you can get started can be found at homebasedworking.info.

It Isn't All About the Product - 10 Tips for Creating Value at Your Home Parties

It isn't All About the Product
If you want success in your direct sales business then you need to know where your main focus should be. If your focus at your parties is all about the product and conducting boring parties, you will most likely find that you won't have much success. This only proves your emphasis is on the sale of product and not your hostess and party guests.
Customers or guests at your parties are savvy. They do not attend your party, nor do they buy your product solely for the product itself. They can buy your product or very similar products just about anywhere.
Customers and party guests buy from you, due to the experience that you offer them at your parties. The better their experience, the better your chances of a sale, guests in attendance, future hostesses and new team members.
Creating Value at Your Home Parties
You must create value through your parties by the experience that you offer your guests. Anything less, you won't be happy with the results and neither will your guests or hostesses. So how do you create value at your parties to insure a great experience?
Here are some tips for creating value at your home parties and insuring a great experience for your guests:
1. You must always have fun at your parties! Anything less than a party with a theme, games and fun, states to your guest that you are only interested in your guest in attending to open their wallet. This party theme starts from the invitation all the way through to the thank you card to the hostess. Don't underestimate your party guests by thinking that all you have to do is display the product and they will buy. Times have changed and you must change with them.
2. Know your product. No, really know your product. Not only the components but how it will compliment your guests and unique ways it can be incorporated into their wardrobe. Be able to answer those questions. How will it make them feel?
3. Provide nothing less than excellent customer service. Go above and beyond what your company offers. These are YOUR customers and hostesses. Offering excellent customer service does not mean that you have to put up with unreasonable demands of a customer. Be sure it is a win win for both.
4. Educate yourself in the direct sales profession showing you are a competent business owner. No one wants to do business with someone who is incompetent. Would you hire an electrician that did not know his profession?
5. Help guests and hostesses maximize their dollars spent. This is what specials are for, to maximize the dollar. Use your company specials and show each customer and hostess how they can use these to their advantage. Offer your own specials too.
6. Don't push your product, but show your guests how the product can help them. How can the jewelry enhance their appearance? Get to know your customers and hostesses by asking questions and show them how your product can enhance their lives.
7. Offer your parties and product as a service to the host and guests. Do not make the assumption that no one wants to host a party, purchase from you or be on your team. These are your thoughts-not theirs. It is always about helping others with your parties and product.
8. Coach your hostess with Excellent Hostess coaching. Accept responsibility for hostess coaching. Your hostess does not know how to have a successful party. It is up to you to show them how. By not doing proper hostess coaching, you are letting your hostess down and her guests. No hostess agrees to do a unsuccessful party.
9. Offer solutions and not excuses. If the party is a flop or the guests don't show, instead of offering excuses and blaming the hostess or her guests, offer a solution such as a catalog party.
10. Always work from the heart and offer your service to help others. Instead of concerning yourself that you are being pushy, if you are truly offering your product or service to help others, it is never pushy. Not sharing and offering your product or service is not having concern or a desire to help others. This business is all about helping others.

What to Do With Dog Aggression

There is a lot of information out there concerning dog aggression and many specialists in handling these problems in dogs, but maybe you have not either read about it or know about them, so I am going to try to also give you some tips that may help you if you are confronting this really huge problem with your dog.
Aggression in dogs is more common than we would want it to be and is considered the most important issue to be handled by dog owners if they have a dog that shows signs of this behavior. As a matter of fact, dog aggression has been considered to be the main reason why dog owners try to seek help from specialists because they do not seem to be able to fix the problem themselves. Special training and knowledge are required to do it successfully and most people who have dogs either do not take the time to learn or are not aware of the importance of that knowledge, so they always end relying on the experts.
I guess it is important we know what the term aggression really means, because there is also a lot of misinformation regarding this and many dog behaviors are considered aggressive when if fact they may not be.
We may encompass the meaning of aggression in different behaviors of various origins that take place in various circumstances. That seems vague, right? We will describe it a little more specifically with examples, though.
If we place ourselves for a moment in the wild and observe animals in their natural habitat, we will recognize immediately that almost all wild animals will show signs of aggressive behavior if they think their territories or offspring are being threatened, including, of course, their own physical wellbeing. Female wild animals will even kill when they consider their babies are in danger.
When we transport ourselves to the "civilized" world we live in, and I always wonder how we continue to call ourselves civilized in more than one aspect, we will also see that the same kind of aggressive behavior is used in order to protect, point out limits and establish hierarchies. Countries even use the threats of aggressive interventions in order to try to control others from any kind of unwanted moves.
When we come to think about dog aggression, it is important to understand that it is not a word that has one meaning; that is, the aggressive behavior will not always be the same. We may observe a range of behaviors and will notice that dogs will usually warn first, and if still feeling threatened in any way, will end up attacking the source of that fear. If by chance they find themselves in a disadvantaged position, that aggressive behavior may simply end abruptly.
When we enter the realm of dogs showing aggressive behavior towards humans, it is important to notice there are many different manifestations of the aggression and not always all together, like showing teeth, growling, barking, pushing the person with its nose, snarling, snapping, nipping, charging at the person with no contact, and finally, different types of bites. There are more signs, but I believe these are the most common.
Going back to the question of what to do with dog aggression, including only the dog in that equation is missing half of it. Not only are the circumstances to be looked at, but very importantly, the dog owner him or herself.
Dogs are not aggressive just because. There are always reasons for this behavior and in some cases, physical causes for it, like when there is damage to certain parts of the brain or diseases that produce a lot of pain.
The first thing one should look for are the reasons. Was there something in the situation the dog was involved in that might have triggered the aggressive behavior? Was it another animal or person it might have reacted to? How, when and where did it take place? Was there a particular activity taking place that the animal might have reacted to? Was it suffering from any kind of illness at the time? These and other details have to be taken into consideration in order to understand the why of the behavior. That will also give the owner a clearer idea or insight into the reasons and that way, arrive at the correct conclusion from which to start in order to correct the aggressiveness.
People always try to find the fault in others, and in the case of dog owners, considering the problem only lies in the dog is a big mistake. When you do not have the adequate knowledge to train and understand dog psychology, you will probably apply the wrong measures to correct what you may consider an aggressive behavior and will not even include yourself in the reasons why it is acting the way it is.
Dog owners need to know that love is essential to give if they want their dog to feel accepted, but that is not the only thing. Proper training from puppyhood is the ideal basis and learning how to manage situations in which the dog may show inappropriate attitudes is also essential.
It has been said many times that human and dog psychologies are not the same. That is very true, and we should not try to control aggressive behaviors in dogs the same way we would use with a child, for example.
I believe the first thing one should do is identify the reason for the aggression: is it territorial, defensive, protective, possessive, based on fear, social, redirected, based on frustration, sex related, due to pain, predatory, based on reactions to certain people or animals, based on reactions to noises or objects, or even age. The list of reasons, as you can see, is long and necessary to know in order to apply the correct measures.
Using a respected dog behaviorist or trainer will give an aggressive dog owner the solution, but the most important thing is for the owner to ask and learn how to do it himself. That will guarantee a better understanding and use of mechanisms to correct the problem with that or another dog that may present the same actions in the future.

Three Reasons to Choose an Airport Taxi Service in London

There are five airports in London, Heathrow, which is the busiest airport in Europe and the largest in the UK, Luton Airport, Stansted, Gatwick and London City Airport. While the latter is very close to the city, other airports are at a considerable distance from central London. Gatwick Airport, for instance, is almost 30 miles away and Stansted Airport is even farther, at a distance of approximately 40 miles. To that extent, when you travel to London, not matter where you land, you need to handle your transportation from the airport to the city, in which case you have two main options: public transportation or private transfer, such as booking a Gatwick airport taxi. Many people go with the public transportation, thinking that hiring a Luton, Heathrow or Stansted airport taxi will be too expensive, but that is not entirely true. There are many reasons for which you should seriously consider getting a car service from the airport to the city and here are the main three.
First of all, whether you choose a Gatwick airport taxi or a car service from Heathrow Airport to Central London, you can be sure that no matter what happens, your transportation is handled. Your plane may be delayed, your luggage lost or your flight even cancelled, but when you arrive in London, no matter when, the driver will be waiting for you. If you choose public transportation, you can kiss those train or bus tickets goodbye. Another reason is, obviously, convenience, especially if you travel with extra luggage. Carrying around heavy bags, in and out of the bus, in and out of the train or underground can be really daunting, not to mention that you can actually throw a muscle there. Obviously, when you hire a Stansted airport taxi or a car service for any other airport for that matter, you benefit from great comfort, having a driver wait for you at baggage claim, usually, and driving to London and even around London until you reach your destination from the comfort of the back seat.
Last, but not least, a Gatwick airport taxi may be as affordable, if not even cheaper, than public transportation. If you travel alone that may not be the case, but if you travel with your family or in a group, the cost of 3 or 4 train or bus tickets may very well exceed the cost of a car service. The bottom line is that, if you research the matter thoroughly, you will see that hiring a Stansted airport taxi service has numerous benefits and there are plenty of reasons to do so, being a much more convenient, affordable and smooth process than you traveling by public transportation. London is a wonderful city and a great destination and there is no point in starting your visit on the wrong foot by losing the bus or the train, carrying your heavy luggage around or having to stand up for hours in a crowded, congested bus.

How to Book a Reliable Taxi Service in London

London is a magical city. Samuel Johnson said if you're tired of London, you're tired of life and the man had a point. The city is restless and no matter how many times you visit it, it still succeeds in mesmerizing you, with its solemn Big Ben and imposing Westminster Abbey or its romantic Thames Pier. The only bothersome issue with going to London is the transportation, which always puts a dam on any journey, because it's confusing, congested and overcrowded. But that's only if you make the mistake of resorting to public transportation in London. On the other hand, if you decide to hire a car service, especially when it comes to airport transfers, you will get to enjoy a comfortable and pleasant journey. Regardless of where you land, there are many companies that provide Luton, Stansted, Gatwick or Heathrow airport taxi services, so you are covered. The important thing is to find a reliable service that doesn't take too much of your budget. Whether you need a Luton airport taxi, as this airport is about 40 miles from the city, or a taxi service from London City airport, which is only 9 miles away, it is essential to find an affordable service.
We live in the Internet era, so finding services fast and easy is not a problem anymore. However, when we are talking about a Heathrow airport taxi service, it is important to book in advance, just to make sure you find something available and in the right price range. A quick search on the web will provide you with a plethora of companies that offer airport transfer services in London, leaving you to decide among them, comparing rates, cars, benefits and overall services. The earlier you book the service, the better deals you can find, but that is not the only factor to take into account. Reliability is a crucial aspect when you are considering booking a Luton airport taxi or transfer for any other London airport for that matter, therefore you should only look for well-established companies, with licensed and experienced drivers. The cheapest service is not necessarily the best service, so be sure to consider value before money.
After making a short list of viable options, you can start asking for custom quotes from these companies, as you may need extra features, such as baby seats or extra luggage room, in which case the price may vary from the one advertised on the website and you don't want to have any surprises. The bottom line is that, with a little research and timely action, one can easily find and book a comfortable, convenient and affordable Luton or Heathrow airport taxi service, which will definitely make their trip to London much better. Dragging your heavy luggage through London's trains, buses or underground is not desirable for a vacation, not to mention the risk of losing the train or the bus if your plane is delayed.

Reasons Why Renting A Car Helps Make the Best Family Vacations

Traveling with itineraries provided by travel agencies or your travel club is a common practice, and these packages usually come with a free ride. However, there are still some merits in renting a car when you are on vacation. Some travelers worry about the cost because of the common misconception that car rentals usually cost an arm and a leg, but if you combine this with the advantages that we will discuss in a bit, you will find that renting a car is actually more cost efficient.
To give you a better picture of the gains of renting a car, we came up with a list of the things you get to enjoy should you choose to rent one on your next vacation, whether it is domestic or in another country.
You get to choose which car to use, and this is an opportunity to save up on gas money. By renting a car, you give yourself the liberty of choosing a car that does not use up a lot of gas. Can you imagine what other fun things you could do with your family with the extra money you have because you did not have to shell it all out for gas?
It makes visiting foreign countries such a breeze. To make the experience more worthwhile, particularly if you have visited that particular country before, renting a car is an ideal option. Getting lost is unlikely, even if it was your first time to visit that country because you can simply go for rentals in vacation packages that are bundled with GPS services.
Rented cars are often in better shape that your own car. Since these cars are used for a living, or for some travel deals, and does not simply exist for the sheer purpose of getting you around, you would think that the owners invest more on maintenance, and are serviced more frequently than your own car.
You get to tailor-fit your mode of transport to the nature of your vacation, or the members of the family. Let's say your family decided to go hiking. You know what this entails-a lot of off-road driving. For that, you will need a 4x4 ride, otherwise, you're going to risk having your car break down in the middle of the trip, or spend more money for maintenance after.
Renting cars make the experience better. We know we could not stress this enough, but when you rent a car, you find that you are more in-charge of the trip that usual. You can make as many pit stops as you want, take the route you want to take, and even take a detour if you please. What's even better is that you get to do all these without having to worry that you might hurt your car's mileage, because guess what-the car is rented!
There is not clear cut formula for best family vacations, but at least having one that is hassle-free, cost efficient, and one that gives you more room for spontaneity definitely makes it better.
Finally, a business you can manage even at home where you can get real money and real results. The Benefits of Orthopedic Office Chairs

Orthopedic office chairs are a great business solution, and providing them (along with training on how they're best used) can help show your staff how much you appreciate them. There are lots of reasons you might need to think about the back care of your employees, but the solution is always the same: if the work space is not set up correctly, then the chances are someone might end up getting hurt through their job. Who thought offices could be so dangerous?!
Not only can an injury lead to work absence, and workload not getting done (or someone else having to pick up extra work load), as an employer you are also liable for your employees health whilst at work - and if they sustain injuries due to malpractice in the workplace you could end up paying for a lot more than just an orthopedic office chair.
Back pain is actually the most frequent cause of sick days, accounting for more time off than childcare, and coughs and colds. It's surprising when you think about it - and the solution is so simple it's really surprising that many employers just don't bother.
An orthopedic office chair for each of your employees can prevent short time absence, as well as longer term, recurrent problem. It's also a good idea to encourage your staff to get up and walk around when they can, as this will help keep those muscles in check. If you don't sit up your tone will lapse and you'll find that you can't sit straight even if you want to.
Correct desk set up is a key part of keeping everything in check and making sure back health is at maximum. When sitting at your desk, your feet should be flat on the floor, and your calves and back should both be straight up. Your elbow should rest on the arms of the seat, and again, this should be straight and not angled. Your forearms will be doing most of the work, so whilst neutral they should be parallel to the ground, though not resting on the desk.
Simple training will make your employees more aware of their posture, and this can prevent injury. It will also mean that you're covered - if they don't follow guidance given but you can prove you provided it then it is their error and not yours. Adjustable desks which can be used whiles seated in an orthopedic office chair but which are also suitable to use standing are an ideal - although this is a much larger investment.
Treat your staff well to avoid workplace injuries and you'll find your staff are much more inclined to work hard!

3 Reasons Your Employees Need Orthopaedic Office Chairs

So many company directors don't bother with providing the correct equipment for their staff, and this can lead to more major problems than you might realise further down the line. It's actually very simple to make sure people are set up properly at their desks - and you might be liable for any injuries caused because you've not provided the right equipment or training.
An orthopaedic office chair can be a simple answer to all your problems - and the cost of bringing them in is much lower than the cost of work not done due to absence.
  • Back pain is the number one cause of office absenteeism
Back pain is staggeringly common. When we sit all day we lose a lot of our muscle tone, and this can make matters worse. It leads to slouching. The other problem is that if the back is not properly supported you might be twisting or hunched over in your seat, which causes a dull ache, or in the more extreme cases, can even lead to sciatica.
  • Your staff will be more productive whilst at work
Being in pain is distracting. If your shoulder or your neck is hurting then you will be focused on that and not on your current workload. This can mean that you don't get as much done as you should do. You may well find that when your staff are comfortable in orthopaedic office chairs they're able to do a lot more work than you thought, making each individual more worthwhile. This will save you money on hiring in more staff.
It's just the same as keeping your staff happy through your actions and your motivation skills - if you show them that they're valuable to you they will be much more inclined to work hard for you.
  • They can be tailored to the individual
Contrary to popular belief, chairs (and come to mention it, desks), are not one size fits all. A high quality orthopaedic office chair which isn't well-adjusted will cause you just as much trouble as a cheaper equivalent. Make sure you learn how to thoroughly adjust your seat, and show your staff how to do the same.
Businesses are just better with orthopaedic office chairs. Your staff will be more comfortable, you'll find there are less days taken off for severe back pain (one of the most common causes of office absence), and your employees will appreciate that you're taking their needs into consideration.

You 1, Procrastination 0 - How To Beat Procrastination Every Day

"Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein." H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
What is it you're putting off? Come on, be honest. It's just you and me here. You can say it. Is it calling prospects? Putting off that website redesign? Holding off on creating that buyers' seminar?
What is it that's holding you back? What keeps you from setting higher goals, prospecting or going after luxury and high-end real estate? Psychologists have been studying procrastination for decades, and what they've found at its core is this: that nasty little, four-letter word -- fear.
Fear is our worst enemy. FDR said it best: "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." Here's the rub, though. Fear can only be conquered by action. And progress follows action.
Here are five ways to put procrastination -- and its buddy "fear" -- in their place for good:
1. Start easy by breaking down your task. Sure, the complete redesign of a multi-page website can sound overwhelming. Even dreadful. And it's certainly easy to see why you might put that off. But if you break it down into small, chewable chunks, it starts looking digestible and doable. Maybe today you just write a list of five items you'd like to see on your site. See, that's not so bad, is it? And once you get going, you create some momentum and the rest seems doable.
2. Keep accountability front and center. Nothing gets done without accountability. You can hold yourself accountable by broadcasting your intentions. Tell a coworker, a friend, a family member or boss what you're going to do. Today that's easy: use social networking, Facebook, Twitter or your blog. Of course I'd be remiss in not suggesting a coach. We're trained to keep your nose to the grindstone. Contact me for the "Daily Activity Record" to help keep you on track.
3. Focus on the why of your project. Think about it: it's easier to complete a task if you fully understand and appreciate the value that will come from that task being completed. Let's use the website redesign as an example again. Why would you want to do that? More prospects? More clients? More credibility in the market? If a project has you twiddling your thumbs, take a few minutes to jot down all the whys.
4. Keep an eye out for excuses. If honors were given for being able to come up with excuses, some agents I know would be Nobel Prize winners. It's amazing how creative we are when it comes to finding reasons not to do something that needs to be done. The trick is to listen to what you're telling yourself. You have to be aware that you're actually making an excuse. Then label it as an excuse, because that's exactly what it is. You have to see the opponent to beat the opponent.
5. Set goals for the day. After you wake up, pledge to yourself that you're going to make it a day of action. Plan your day, write your goals and prioritize them, schedule blocks of time for each one and then act. Stay focused and don't stop until you get them done.
Finally, realize each day is a gift that allows you to take action and impact the lives of others. I challenge you to move into action and leave excuses behind. For this life is amazing, and wonderful things await those who take action.
Let me hear from you. Sometimes it helps just to talk about a project that has you procrastinating.

Benefits Of Carbon Bike Wheels

Cycling is not only beneficial for your health, but is also a highly competitive sport that requires supreme endurance, power, speed and technique. All these are aspects that a cyclist can improve on. However, one aspect that is beyond a cyclist's physical prowess is the quality of bicycle used. Therefore, any serious cyclist must invest in the best quality bicycle, particularly bicycles fitted with carbon bike wheels.
Some varieties of carbon bicycle wheels include:
(i) Less expensive carbon wheels which posses aluminum skeletons layered with carbon.
(ii) More expensive varieties which possess alloy spokes and hubs with full carbon rims.
(iii) High-end wheels which possess carbon rims, as well as carbon hubs. Titanium alloys may be included within the components of these high-quality carbons.
(iv) Very light carbon bicycle wheels possessing a full carbon construction with minimal alloys.
Benefits Of Carbon Bike Wheels
Carbon bicycle wheels are designed to produce much lighter bicycles. This enables riders to move at super fast speeds. However, when selecting carbon bike wheels, you should also check on the overall weight of your bicycle. This is because the Union Cycliste Internationale clearly specifies that the weight of legal race bikes used in track, road and cyclo-cross racing should not be less than 6.8 kgs.
A carbon bike wheel is designed to achieve the perfect balance between stiffness, aerodynamics and weight aspects. This makes the bicycle light enough for a swift uphill climb, but also sleek enough for speedy downhill rides. You would need to check reviews by other riders concerning these aspects before selecting a particular carbon bike wheel design.
A carbon bike wheel is designed to be very quick in spinning up. This enables faster acceleration during races. The lightness of the wheel means that any force applied to bike pedals is quickly translated to the wheels, with minimal loss. This enables riders to make a powerful surge forward, especially when trying to overlap fellow competitors. Such a powerful effect may be overwhelming for someone who isn't used to this type of bicycle - it might feel a bit skittish. Therefore, you should ensure to have sufficient training using the bicycle before the actual race.
There are various designs of carbon bike wheels, suited for different race conditions. For instance, bicycle wheels using tubular-carbon spokes are highly effective during climbing on steep grades. The tubular design of the carbon spokes provides firm resistance against tension and compression forces, making the wheels stiff and very responsive. This means that your bicycle would generate momentum from the smallest amount of force applied to it.
However, one disadvantage of the tubular-carbon spoke design is a slower speed when going down a slope. This is because the rims are boxy and spokes are larger than other sleek-designed bicycle wheels. Moreover, you must ensure that the dimensions of the spokes meet the Union Cycliste Internationale's regulations. Apart from having a minimum of 12 spokes, the spokes (flattened, round or oval) must not exceed 10mm in cross-sectional dimensions (applicable to massed start competitions for road and cyclo-cross).
Some varieties of carbon bicycle wheels make use of clincher tires. Compared to tubular tires, clincher tires are easier to use and repair.
Carbon Bike Wheels offer various types of carbon bike wheels guaranteed to enhance performance and enrich your riding experience. Visit http://www.carbonbikewheels.com.au/ to know more about carbon bike wheels.

The Mistake: Taking Too Long to Respond

Every brand (and their agency) gets excited when they get that phone call to become a star on that next great TV show or film. Unfortunately, time is of the essence, and if you don't have a plan in place to seize that golden opportunity, you will be left in the dust.
While concerns will be valid as to whether or not the production will be a good fit, taking too much time to consider after the fact may cost you - if your response is not immediate, it is likely the production will be calling your competitors, seeking the next yes answer before you have made up your mind.
You need to determine what type of property would be a good fit before you can make that decision. There are certain questions to ask yourself before you receive that call out of the blue, so you are ready with a quick yes or no response:
1. How Your Brand Will Be Seen: How do you want the placement to paint the picture of your brand? Is there specific usage that would be ideal? What do you want to make sure isn't inferred about your brand?
2. The Genre Of The Production: Is there a certain genre of a production that is more/less appealing? Horror or adult comedies may have scenes that are more risqué or violent, does this fit your brand's personality?
3. The Demographic Reach: What type of demographics do you want to reach? The productions demographic should align with yours - or provide you access into a segmented demo you are hoping to enter.
It is important to note that your first thoughts on whether a project is a good fit or not may not necessarily be accurate.
For example, many brands shy away from the horror genre in general, immediately determining that they do not want their brand to be associated with the types of emotions the film or show may arise out of its viewers. However studies have shown that horror films actually tend to be the most rewarding investments, as consumers are more likely to develop an attachment to/remember brands when they are scared.
Not only do you need to really identify your own core marketing target, but you need to understand who the viewer will be of the productions that call, as well as the pros and cons of working with different types of genres, and put in safeguards to protect your brand identity.
Only once you have all of that information defined clearly in your mind can you respond promptly and get your brand in the spotlight before your competitors get that call.

Eco Friendly Packaging Materials - Paper WithPost Consumer or Post Industrial Recycle Content?

There often seems to be some skepticism when the recycled content of the paper used in eco friendly packaging materials happens to be post industrial. Buyers readily accept the environmental benefits of paper i.e., recyclability, biodegradability, renewable resources, etc. But when it comes to claims of content, post consumer is the gold standard and post industrial raises questions as to environmental value.
It is interesting to hear about buyers debating between whether 100% post industrial or 20% post consumer recycled fiber content is the better choice when considering paper packaging materials. In this case and by today's standards, the packaging with the 100% post industrial content would be the better choice for the buyer looking for eco friendly packaging alternatives. Why?
Paper Packaging with Post Industrial or Post Consumer Recycled Content Claims Must Comply With the Same Standard
Post Industrial (sometimes called Pre Consumer) describes paper that is made from sources where scrap is diverted from the waste stream after the manufacturing process or prior to reaching the consumer. In the case of Post Consumer, this material is diverted from the waste stream after being used by the consumer. Both are legitimate types of recycled content in that both must comply with the same standard: Any recycled content claim for eco friendly packaging materials made of paper, whether Post Industrial or Post Consumer, may only be made when the content is made up of material that has been diverted from the waste stream.
As an example: Paper trimmings are purchased from a printer who would have otherwise discarded it. The trimmings are then resold to a paper producer where it is then converted into pulp for making paper. In terms of environmental value, paper packaging with this type of recycled fiber content is considered equivalent to Post Consumer, because absent the use of these trimmings by the paper producer, they would have entered the waste stream after being discarded by the printer.
Why are Buyers of Green Packaging Materials Confused Over the Recycled Content in Paper?
Paper producers routinely collect the droppings and scraps generated from the original paper making process, which is known as Mill Broke. After a minimal amount of reprocessing, the Mill Broke is combined with virgin material for use in the further production of paper. As public interest in paper packaging containing recycled content began to grow, producers often made "recycled" claims based on the combination of Mill Broke with virgin material in the paper. This was seen as a deceptive claim because as a matter of practice, the Mill Broke had always been reclaimed by the producer and was never subject to introduction into the waste stream. As a result, the standards for using Post Industrial recycled content claims have changed. In addition to complying with the standard of having content made up of material that is diverted from the waste stream, the claim must now exclude waste generated in the paper making process that is capable of being reclaimed for use in further production of the same paper.
Generally, producers of paper packaging containing Post Industrial recycled content will be able to provide documentation that the source of the content comes from outside the paper making process. For buyers of paper used in the making of eco friendly packaging materials, this can help to clear up the confusion over recycled content and help to strengthen the environmental value of paper packaging.

Yes, You Have to Work on Lead Generation

It's a given in Network Marketing: lead generation--or prospecting or recruiting or finding suitable candidates--is without a doubt the lifeblood of an MLM marketing business. Without customers, you don't have a business. Without prospects that become enthusiast distributors, you don't have a future. Period. (As an associate of mine says: "you're dead in page one.")
For your business to function, to grow, plain and simple and however you want to see it, you need to work at lead generation. No matter how you feel about it: without it, you are not going anywhere.
No leads, no sales, no team, no business.
OK, so you're not big on generating leads. You're shy, you're afraid people will reject you, or you don't like using the phone...
I get it...
Well, then you have to ask yourself some hard questions right about now:
Do you really, absolutely want your business to grow? Do you really, absolutely want to generate a residual income? Do you really, absolutely desire to live a better life, however you define it?
If the answer is "Yes, I do, really, absolutely... ", then you have to do lead generation. You have to find prospect. You have to work on the net part of your Network business.
As simple--and as complicated--as that.
Yes, you may use technology to simplify and amplify your efforts. Yes, you might use social media to reach to people. Yes, you can--an need--use automated mechanisms.
But, sooner rather than later if you're really serious about your business, you need to talk to people and do lead generation, prospecting and qualifying, as well as following up. Especially when trying to locate, recruit and develop leaders.
You'll only get the desired results if you approach it with the right attitude. You have to want it! If you don't, it'll show!
That doesn't mean you have to be desperate. It means you need to be positive and confident. If you're new to MLM marketing and network marketing, then the more you have to do lead generation. With this effort you will get better and better at it.
To be positive and confident you have to:
Be proactive in your lead generation activities
Learn new skills that stretch beyond your comfort zones
Be patient and persistent
Understand who is your ultimate, ideal client, distributor and leader
Be willing to choose the right type of candidates for you
Make the first move, don't wait
Be creative in your approach
Use different approaches and, definitely, take advantage of technology Be prepared to listen to find out what your prospect needs and wants
Be prepared to follow up with your contacts
If you want a positive team, then you have to be a positive Leader. If you can't find it within yourself to step up to the plate and take action each day, then your team won't either. And on the positive side: be a proactive leader and you'll have a growing, proactive organization.
That, finally, is what duplication means
